Abstract

This Directive, replaces reference (a) DoD Directive 5100.36, 'Defense Scientific and Technical Information Program,' defines concepts and assigns responsibilities for the operation and management of the DoD Scientific and Technical Information Program (STIP) (enclosure 2), and outlines the mission, responsibilities, and functions of the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), (enclosure 3).
