Interment Allowance for Deceased Active Duty Personnel

Abstract

This Directive reissues reference (a) DoD Directive 1344.8 to update the established requirement for the periodic review of interment allowances to assure the survivors of active duty personnel are provided a reasonable and adequate monetary allowance to cover interment expenses on a uniform basis.
