Abstract

This Directive: Reissues reference (a) DoD Directive 2140.2, 'Recoupment of Nonrecurring Costs (NC) on Sales or Licensing of U.S. Items,'. Updates policy, responsibilities, and procedures to conform with references (b) Public Law 90-629, 'Arms Export Control Act, ' and (c) Section 9701 of title 31, for calculating and assessing NC recoupment charges on sales of items developed for or by the Department of Defense to non-U.S. Government customers.
