Payment of Quarters Allowance in the Republic of Panama

Abstract

This Instruction implements references (a) Public Law 98-600, Amendment to the Panama Canal Act of 1979, and (b) Executive Order 12520, and sets forth the policy, prescribes procedures and assigns responsibilities concerning payment of a quarters allowance for certain employees of the Department of Defense serving in the Panama Canal area.
