Literature Review. Aquatic Resources Investigation, Rocky Mountain Arsenal. Phase I

Abstract

This report presents the results of a phase I literature review and site reconnaissance of aquatic resources at RMA. The primary purposes of the investigation are to: (1) Characterize the aquatic resources in terms of habitat, species composition, and past management resources; (2) Assess the contamination history of those resources; and (3) Provide a basis for designing more detailed phase II programs. The emphasis of the study is to document injuries to the Aquatic resources resulting from the production, storage, and disposal of chemicals at RMA. Sections of this report detail information on: (1) Aquatic resources; (2) Food webs; (3) History of fisheries management; and (4) Aquatic contamination
