Abstract

This report summarizes the most important results obtained under grant DAAL03-90-C-0008, namely: - Growth and characterization of a new class of III-V based diluted magnetic semiconductors - Observation of one-dimensional conduction on surface channels of InAs - Demonstration of Tamm states in semiconductor superlattices - Realization of electric-field tunable stimulated emission - Demonstration of resonant interband magnetotunneling in type II heterostructures - Measurement of dynamic spin polarization in diluted magnetic semiconductor quantum wells.
