Environmental Pollution Prevention, Control and Abatement

Abstract

This Instruction describes the procedures to identify, report, and submit projects to correct pollution deficiencies at DoD Component facilities. DoD Instruction 4120.14 (reference (c)) and Reports Control Symbol DD-I and L(Q) 1088 are hereby superseded and cancelled. The provisions of this Instruction apply to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Military Departments, and the Defense Agencies. It provisions encompass (a) DoD-owned facilities including Government Owned-Contractor Operated (GO-CO) industrial plants, wherein DoD work is done exclusively, (b) facilities located on real property under the jurisdiction of the DoD, and (c) DoD facilities operating in foreign countries
