United States Air Force Emergency Service Teams.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a new operational concept for the response by Air Force security police emergency service teams and hostages negotiators to the contemporary threats of terrorism and criminal elements. This study is broken into two parts. The initial chapter of the first part is an academic study of the historical and current policies of the Air Force. The second chapter is a review of the emergency service teams of major American police departments and the implications of their policies for the Air Force. The final chapter explains the development of a proposed new Air Force regulation.
