Generalized Multichannel Signal Detection

Abstract

The Multichannel Signal Processing Simulation System (MSPSS) provides: A synthesis procedure for simulating multichannel Autoregressive (AR) processes in which intertemporal and interchannel correlations are controlled by specifying signal characteristics such as the one-lag temporal and cross-channel correlation parameters. A capability for analyzing the performance of various multichannel estimation algorithms. A multichannel signal detection algorithm, based on a generalized likelihood ratio using an innovations approach. Under this effort the MSPSS was enhanced to provide synthesis and analysis of more general processes including multipath and feedback processes, non-Gaussian Spherically Invariant Random Processes, and processes with non-constrained quadrature components.
