Department of Defense Privacy Program

Abstract

This Directive reissues reference (a); establishes policies and procedures for implementing the DoD Privacy Program under reference (b); delegates authorities and assigns responsibilities for administration of the DoD Privacy Program; and establishes the Defense Privacy Board and the Defense Privacy Board Legal Committee. The authorizes the development, publication, and maintenance of DoD 5400.11-R, "The DoD Privacy Program Regulation," consistnet with reference (c).
