Shoot 'em All Down--Let God Sort 'em Out: Effective Command and Control for the LAV/AD

Abstract

Despite aviators misgivings, existing technology and procedural controls will be sufficient to provide effective command and control to the Light Armored Vehicle/Air Defense (LAV/AD). This paper analyzes need for an air defense weapons platform for the Marine Corps. Additionally, command and control issues are surfaced for review.
