Abstract

The United States Marine Corps must produce a Command and Control (C2) systems officer with the knowledge, skills and authority necessary to plan, build and manage information systems in support of the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF). This paper covers the C2 systems officer concept, doctrine and educational issues associated with C2 planners, and staff reorganization as a method to achieve an end state.
