Abstract

This Directive: 1. Under references (a) and (b), establishes the Uniformed Services Health Benefits Committee (USHBC) as a forum for discussion of policy issues affecting the delivery of health care benefits in the Uniformed Services health care system and as an advisory body to the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs). 2. Delineates organization and management, establishes policy, defines functions, and assigns responsibilities.
