Rocky Mountain Arsenal Offpost Private Well Inventory and Information Survey.

Abstract

This study is a followup and update to previously performed offpost private well inventories of the area north and northwest of the Rockey Mountain Arsenal (RMA) northern boundary (East 96th Avenue, Figure 1). Based on the results of previously performed laboratory testing results, (ESE, 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1989), offpost RMA-related ground water contamination is generally limited to shallow (less than 100 feet deep) ground water to the north and northwest of RMA. The deep aquifers (generally greater than 100 feet), which are the primary sources of drinking water within the study area, are for the most part not contaminated by RMA-related chemicals.
