Management of Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT)

Abstract

This Instruction assign responsibilities for the central management of MASINT within the Department of Defense, pursuant to references (a), (b), and (c), to ensure that U.S. Government intelligence and Defense operational, acquisition, and other needs for MASINT are met effectively and efficiently in a manner conducive to national security and consistent with the authorities and duties of the Secretary of Defense and the Director of Central Intelligence under references (d), (e). and (f)
