Proposed Decision Document for the Basin A Neck Groundwater Intercept and Treatment System Interim Response Action at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal

Abstract

This interim response action consists of the design and construction of an alluvial ground water intercept and treatment system in the basin a neck area. This proposed decision document provides summaries of: 1.) Alternatives considered; 2.) Significant events leading to the initiation of the IRA; 3.) The IRA Project; and 4.) The applicable or relevant and appropriate requirements, standards, criteria, or limitations (ARAR's) associated with the program. The preferred treatment method is activated carbon.
