Preliminary Engineering Design Package for the Basin A Neck Groundwater Intercept and Treatment System Interim Response Action

Abstract

The interim response action for the basin a neck area will consist of: 1. Seven dewatering wells 2. Soil bentonite slurry wall 820 feet in length 3. Ground water treatment by activated carbon adsorption 4. 540 feet of gravel filled recharge trenches. The engineering design package discusses each of the above elements as well as providing cost estimates.
