Abstract

The Process Guide is written to help Aeronautical System Center and all Air Force Material Command personnel and organizations to understand the early acquisition process and to aid in developing new executable projects prior to the program start decision (Milestone I). The objective of this guide is to give personnel working on new acquisition projects adequate knowledge and information to be able to obtain a Milestone I approval and have an executable program. The information is prepared so personnel at Acquisition Professional Development Program Level I can understand the process and complete the task.
