Management and Treatment of Drummed Liquids and Decontamination Water at Rocky Mountain Arsenal

Abstract

R.L. Stollar and Associates assumed the interim responsibility for the waste management program at RMA September, 1988 as requested by the program manager's office. This report summarize the work done during the program, which operated from September, 1988 through March, 1989. Following are the activities included in the waste management program. Management of the solid and liquid waste generated by contractors during the remedial investigation; operation of the decontamination pad used by the contractors; management of the hazardous waste storage houses; Stollar also initiated a program to treat the liquid stored in approximately 3000 drums.
