Implementing a Multiple Criteria Model Base in Co-Op with a Graphical User Interface Generator

Abstract

This thesis designs and implements prototype Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) modules to add into the Cooperative Multiple Criteria Group Decision Support System (Co-op) for Windows. The algorithms and the graphical user interfaces for these modules are implemented using Microsoft Visual Basic under the Windows based environment operating in a IBM compatible microcomputer. Design of the MCDM programs interface is based on general interface design principles of user control, screen design, and layout.
