A Compilation of Data Relative to the Future Design of the Combat Vehicle Crewman's Helmet DH-132

Abstract

A study was conducted to provide information about the combat vehicle crewman helmet, DH-132, to the U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center (NRDEC). The Human Research and Engineering Directorate (HRED) of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) collected data, including compatibility, comfort, fit, safety, protection, steady state and impulse noise, about the DH-132 and the types of vehicles and radios in which the helmet is used. The information and user feedback in this report will be used for a future design of the advanced prototype combat vehicle crewman helmet by NRDEC. Combat vehicle, DH-132, Crewman's helmet, Helmet.
