ADP Contract Consolidation--Does It Compute

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the NRL ADP Contract Consolidation Program. Participants were asked to respond to a questionnaire concerning their experience and opinions of the NRL-Wide Contracts. Additional information has been drawn from historical data and related literature. The population studied in this research project consisted of Branch Managers and above at the Naval Research Laboratory. These employees are located at the Washington, D.C. location. A survey questionnaire was forwarded to each manager with a goal of obtaining a 100 percent response. The survey findings, along with the literature discussed, support the consolidation program, and relate its timeliness to similar occurrences within industry and government. The section of Relevant Evidence discusses the benefits and savings of consolidating contracts and further consolidating programs and contracts under one program manager.
