Laser and Fourier Transform Spectroscopy of Novel Propellant Molecules

Abstract

A wide variety of molecules were studied by the techniques of Fourier transform spectroscopy and visible laser spectroscopy. Molecules studied include CCN, CaBHsub4, CHsub3N, CN, IF, ICl, IBr, BC, CH, Csub2, Csub3, Csub60, LiF, AlF, AlCl, HF, HCl, BeFsub2, BiH, AlH, BaH, and GaH. These molecules were detected by infrared, visible and ultraviolet emission and absorption measurements.
