Abstract

This research will assess the nature and significance of the adjustment problems faced by families, particularly, next-of-kin of prisoners of war and of those who are killed or missing in action. The study will identify and examine the supporting services provided by the Department of the Army and civilian agencies in assisting the adjustment of next-of-kin and families and identify potentially useful modification of and supplements to such services.
