The Integrated Model Development Environment

Abstract

This report presents the results of the Integrated Model Development Environment (IMDE) exploratory development research project. The objective of the research was to demonstrate how object-oriented modeling and graphical user interface technologies could improve Air Force and DoD large-scale modeling efforts. This report documents the motivations for the research, describes the generic modeling tool that was developed to demonstrate the IMDE technologies, and discusses future laboratory research plans.
