Advanced Field Artillery System (AFAS) / Future Armored Resupply Vehicle (FARV) Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) Analysis in Support of a Cost and Operational Effectiveness Analysis (COEA)

Abstract

The purpose of this project was to perform a Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) Analysis of the Advanced Field Artillery System (AFAS) / and Future Armored Resupply Vehicle (FARV) materiel Systems. These analyses were conducted in conjunction with a Cost and Operational Effectiveness Analysis (COEA) study. The MPT analyses will support attainment of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and U.S. Army MANPRINT objectives by: (1) Supporting COEA alternative and Baseline Cost Estimating Development for MDR I; (2) Creating a Baseline for the Demonstration and Validation (DEM/VAL) acquisition phase; (3) Developing key MPT resource information of the AFAS-FARV materiel system; (4) Providing initial MPT analysis baseline for the user; and (5) Identifying MPT supportability issues or risks for timely resolution. Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT), Manpower & Personnel Integration (MANPRINT).
