DNS, LES and Stochastic Modeling of Turbulent Reacting Flows

Abstract

This is a Final Report providing a summary of accomplishments in our research sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ON-R), Grant N0001 4-90-J- 4013 (Young In Program - FY 1990) under the management of Dr. Gabriel D. Roy, Mechanics Division, Code 1132P. The contributions made in each part of this investigation are described, followed by a highlight of our important findings. A few of the technical papers written in conjunction with this work are attached as appendices for those who are interested in reviewing our work in a greater detail.
