Human Factors Engineering for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems.

Abstract

This Standard establishes and defines the human factors engineering requirements for the definition, design, development, test and evaluation of Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) Systems including AVE, OSE, MSE and facilities. It implements the provisions of AFR 800-15, Human Factors Engineering and Management, with AFSC Supplement 1 thereto, and AFR 80-14, Test and Evaluation. and AFSC Supplement 1 thereto. The standard identifies the responsibilities for the development and implementation of a human factors engineering program, defines the detailed requirements for developing a Human Factors Development Plan (HFDP), and for contractor performance in accordance with the plan.
