Advanced Distributed Simulation Technology Advanced Rotary Wing Aircraft. Strawman Verification and Validation Plan for the ARWA Simulator System

Abstract

The ADST ARWA Strawman Verification and Validation Plan was developed during Phase 1 of the ADST ARWA program and is a 'living' document that will be revised to record effects of code changes and plans for validating correct implementation of modifications. The V&V plan represents has as its objective to provide a roadmap identifying both V&V process and information sources that will be required over the development cycle. The V&V plan outlines the specifics of the approach that will be taken to determine if components fulfill design requirements and that system elements are in compliance with functional requirements.
