Abstract

A workshop on Formal Models for Intelligent Control, jointly funded by the Army Office (ARO) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and jointly sponsored by the Center for Intelligent Control Systems (CICS) and the University of California at Berkeley's Intelligent Machines and Robotics Laboratory, was held at M.I.T. during 30 September--2 October 1993. The workshop brought together a large number of researchers and specialists from universities, the government, and industry, providing a stage for interesting presentations as well as lively discussion.
