Some Problems in Nonlinear Analysis

Abstract

Variational methods have been developed to treat problems in ordinary and partial differential equations involving multibump solutions, especially of homoclinic and heteroclinic type. Methods have also been obtained to find solutions of Hamiltonian systems heteroclinic to a pair of periodic solutions. Critical point theory, Variational methods, Minimax methods, Hamiltonian systems, Connecting orbits, Homoclinic orbits, Heteroclinic orbits, Multibump solutions.
