Chemotherapy and Drug Targeting in the Treatment of Leishmaniasis

Abstract

The objective of this research was to test promising compounds for antileishmanial activity and to test for potential host toxicity with use of human CEM T4 cells. Growth experiments and testing for inhibition of parasite unique enzyme systems were employed in this study.
