Abstract

The Future Technologies Workshop was held on 9-11 June 1993, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, by the U.S. ARL in collaboration with the U.S. Army TARDEC. The objective was to determine what technologies ARL should be addressing to benefit the next fleet of armored fighting vehicles. The focus was on the structure, signature, and armor protection of a future ground combat vehicle. ARL and TARDEC researchers provided briefings on vehicle requirements and constraints.
