Abstract

Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS), secondhand smoke are all terms for tobacco smoke a non-smoker inhales. The paramount controversy concerns the extent of health risk to non smokers from ETS. Groups on both sides of the controversy hold extreme views on the degree of risk, especially regarding the risk of contracting cancer.
