Update to Contracting Cost Factors Used in the Contract Termination Model

Abstract

This is a study to update and revise the cost factors contained in the Cost Data File of the Contract Termination Model (CTM). The CTM is used by DLA Supply Centers to evaluate whether or not existing contractual actions are still cost effective. The validity of the Contract Termination Model is dependent on accurate inventory, reprocurement, and termination cost data. The cost factors in the Cost Data File of the Contract Termination Model were revised using the latest policy guidance and the best available data for estimating costs. The Cost Data File should be replaced by each center to reflect the updated cost factors derived from this study to ensure the validity of the CTM. Procurement, Contract Termination, Inventory
