Corrosion Control Acceptance Criteria for Impressed-Current-Type, Cathodic Protection Systems on Water Storage Tank Interiors

Abstract

The Army currently operates and maintains more than 300 elevated water storage tanks, all of which require some form of corrosion control. Catholdic protection is a form of corrosion control used to prevent corrosion-induced leaks in steel structures exposed to water.
