Mass Spectral Data of Alkyl and Cycloalkyl Methylphosphonofluoridates
Abstract
Electron impact (EI) mass spectra of over 60 alkyl and cycloalkyl methylphosphonofluoridates (alkyl/cycloalkyl < or = to C10) were recorded and taken up in databases. Each compound was prepared in situ by mixing an alcohol with methylphosphonodifluoride followed by gas chromatographic-mass spectrometric analysis (GC-MS) of the reaction mixture. The choice of the alcohols was restricted to relatively inexpensive, primary and secondary alcohols. the EI mass spectra and a short description of the fragmentation patterns of the methylphosphonofluoridates are presented.
