Zoned Analog Personal Teleconferencing (ZAPT)
Abstract
ZAPT is a desktop multiparty audio/video teleconferencing system at ARPA, based on Bellcore's Touring Machine ZAPT supports one multiparty call (up to 4 parties), and any number of point-to-point calls, with analog multimedia. ZAPT supports automated remote operation and conference 'joint' requests. ZAPT provides interoffice conferencing at ARPA, and manual cross-connect to Internet- style conferencing tools.
