Study of Alternatives for Groundwater Pollution Control at the North Boundary of Rocky Mountain Arsenal

Abstract

Three schemes have been proposed to satisfy the cease and desist order of the State of Colorado against RMA. Each scheme proposes to intercept the northerly flow of ground water, process this water through a treatment system, and return the clean water to the aquifer. This report examines the three proposed systems and recommends the most technically feasible route for obtaining the final objective. It also recommends whether or not pilot phases should be pursued.
