Military Review, September 1994. Volume 74, Number 9

Abstract

Military Review is the professional journal of the United States Army. The issue revolves around the transformation of the Army and Army operations brought about by the Post Cold War Era and the demands of a New World Order. Specific articles focus on peacekeeping in Somalia, U.S. national interests in Pacific Rim, and the new roles played by the United Nations and NATO. Due to increased downsizing of U.S, military forces, an article on personal strategies for launching second careers is included.
