East Asia: A Climatological Study. Volume 1: Continental
Abstract
The climatological study of East Asia is divided into two volumes. Volume I discusses the area of East Asia that are most affected by continental air masses. This includes Tibet, Mongolia and northeast China. After describing the geography and major meteorological features of continental East Asia, the study discusses in detail the climatic controls of each of continental East Asia's three 'zones of climatic commonality.' Each 'season' is defined and discussed in considerable detail including the following: general weather, clouds, visibility, winds, precipitation, temperature, hazards, and trafficability.
