Listings of Toxic Chemicals, Hazardous Substances, and Ozone-Depleting Chemicals.

Abstract

As part of its commitment to eliminate or reduce requirements for hazardous or environmentally damaging substances from military specifications and standards, the DoD has put together this list of toxic chemicals, extremely hazardous substances, ozone depleting chemicals (ODCs), selected volatile organic compounds, and several other substances. This list is intended to help standards management activities identify, and hopefully avoid use of the substances as they revise, develop, and review specifications and standards.
