Improved Antifreeze for Combat/Tactical Vehicles.

Abstract

The aluminum corrosion protection capabilities of military antifreeze MIL-A46153 are improved by the addition of silicate and other corrosion inhibitors to its formulation. MIL-A46153's improvement is shown through the use of standard ASTM laboratory coolant tests. (jg)
