Basin F to the North Boundary Area, Rocky Mountain Arsenal, Denver, Colorado. Volume 2. Groundwater Analysis.

Abstract

Vol I: This study was made to provide a detailed definition of the geology and ground water in the alluvium between Basin F and the North Boundary. The study area includes RMA sections 23, 24, 19, 26, and 25. Three specific questions are addressed in this study: (1) What are the hydrogeological characteristics of the alluvial aquifer from Basin F to the North Boundary?; (2) What are the locations, movements and concentrations of various pollutants in the alluvial aquifer?; and (3) Are First Creek, the sewage lagoon, sanitary sewer line and deep waste injection disposal well pollution sources concurrent with this study, a contaminant identification and migration study was performed. The results of that study are submitted separately in Basin F to the North Boundary, Vol II: ground analysis II Vol II presents answers to questions 2 and 3 above. -BKA
