Corrosion in Methylphosphonic Difluoride,

Abstract

Electrochemical potentiodynamic polarization studies were conducted for a variety of ferrous and nonferrous metals in methylphosphonic difluoride. Studies were also made of the effects of organic inhibitors on the corrosion rates of 1020 steel (UNS G10200), type 3161 (UNS S31603), and type 304 stainless steel (UNS S30400), and magnesium in methylphosphonic difluoride.
