Abstract

This is the 20th annual Department of Defense report on social representation in the United States Military Services. This publication provides data and commentary on demographic, educational, aptitude, and socioeconomic characteristics of applicants, new recruits, and Enlisted and Officer personnel of the Active and Reserve Components. The study compares the population of military personnel to its counterparts in the Civilian Population. This report covered Fiscal Year (FY) 1993.
