A Framework for Integrating Cost Estimating and Systems Engineering Tools.

Abstract

As the defense budget continues to decline, the incorporation of cost estimating into the system engineering process has become increasingly important. Although cost estimators and systems engineers are both using automated tools to perform their tasks, the integration of such tools has been limited. This report provides a description of a framework for integrating the cost estimators tool (called ACEIT) with a set of system engineer's tools (collectively called DESTINATION). (AN)
