Abstract

This volume contains the papers selected for presentation at the Eight International Symposium on Methodologies for Intelligent Systems - ISMIS'94, held in Charlotte, North Carolina, October 16-19, 1994. The symposium was hosted by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and sponsored by Office of Naval Research, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, MITRE Corporation, UNC-Charlotte, and EM-Charlotte.
