Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for Construction Activities.

Abstract

All construction sites as Robins AFB, Georgia with disturbed land area of five acres or greater are required to obtain a permit from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division to discharge storm water. Obtaining the storm water discharge permit is a two-step process: Submitting a Notice of Intent to discharge storm water; and Compliance with the State of Georgia's General Permit requirements. A primary component of compliance with Georgia's General Permit requirements is the preparation and implementation of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). This document is organized to function as a guide to meet SWPPP requirements. The step-by-step guidelines and checklists show the process of developing and implementing a SWPPP for construction sites at Robins AFB, GA. -BKA
