Soil Survey of Adams County, Colorado,

Abstract

This soil survey contains information that can be applied in managing farms, ranches and woodlands; in selecting sites for roads, ponds, buildings and other structures; and in judging the suitability of tracts of lands for farming, industry and recreation. All the soils of Adams County are shown on a detailed map at the back of this publication. This map consists of many sheets made from aerial photographs. On each sheet of the detailed map, oil areas are outlined and identified by symbols. The 'Guide to Mapping Units' list all the soils of the county, by map symbol and gives the capability classification of each. It also shows the page where each soil is described in the text. (MM)
